6" Diameter Mortoniceras, Skinny Fella, Nice Sutures!
This Fort Worth Formation/Duck Creek ammonite was discovered in north Johnson County in the Summer of 2023. Mercer M. Brugler of FossilFactory.net helped me with some of the tougher prep work in the center, which shows that the ammonite center whorls collapsed prior to fossilization. It's still a sizable and beautiful ammonite. (Email dfwfossils@gmail.com for PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or other preferred methods of payment).

PERFECT 7" diameter Mortoniceras
A heavy rain enabled me to discover this ammonite immediately after it became freed from its surrounding matrix on May 27, 2024. It looks good on both sides, I only performed some prep work using a Dremel 290 with a carbide tip. Email dfwfossils@gmail.com for PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, other instructions if desired.

7.5" Mortoniceras, Nice!
This Fort Worth Formation ammonite was discovered in north Johnson County in the Summer of 2023. Unfortunately, I broke it upon extraction, though it repaired quite nicely and the line showing the break is barely visible. I cleaned the ammonite with a Dremel 290 and a 10-second dip in acid, followed by baking soda to counteract the acid. (Email dfwfossils@gmail.com for PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or other preferred methods of payment).

Flawless 5" diameter Mortoniceras
This nice ammonite looks good on both sides. I have prepared it on one side using a Dremel 290 but additional work could theoretically be performed on the other side. Email dfwfossils@gmail.com for PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, other instructions if desired.
2.5" Mortoniceras
This Fort Worth Formation ammonite was found on May 27, 2024 along with several other listings on my site. It has one very good display side though it represents a smaller specimen. I used a Dremel 290 with a carbide tip to work way excess matrix on the end and toward the middle whorls.(Email dfwfossils@gmail.com for PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or other preferred methods of payment).
4.5" diameter Mortoniceras-Good Deal!
This specimen was found on Memorial Day 2024 in a north Johnson County creek. No repairs have been made. A line visible across the ammonite is natural and resulted from unknown forces prior to my discovery of the fossil. Very nice display side and sutures visible. I have discounted the price as you'll see by following the link. Email dfwfossils@gmail.com for PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, other instructions if desired.
5" Mortoniceras, Nice Sutures!
This Fort Worth Formation ammonite came from a local creek near Chisolm Trail Toll Road in northern Johnson County. Unfortunately, it broke during extraction, but I felt that the display value of the sutures warranted offering this ammonite to you at a deeply discounted price. I believe this offers adequate value for the purchaser. (Email dfwfossils@gmail.com for PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or other preferred methods of payment).
4.5" diameter Sliced & Polished- 1 Side

9" Mortoniceras w/Oysters
This Fort Worth Formation ammonite has LOTS of oysters attached to the other side (see more photos when you click "Buy Now." This unprepped ammonite may be missing the center completely, but the outside detail looks very nice and the oyster side would clean up well. This large specimen came from Sycamore Creek in Fort Worth. (Email dfwfossils@gmail.com for PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or other preferred methods of payment).

4.5" diameter Mortoniceras W/ Nice Sutures!
This mortoniceras ammonite was discovered May 27, 2024 and it features nice sutures on the display side. A worm tube or other factor caused the non-display side to show a deep "gash" so I've discounted this specimen despite the lack of impact on the prettiest side. The center may also be collapsed, but this doesn't impact the quality of the specimen for display purposes.
