Echinoids, Bivalves, & More
"Ram's Horns" Ilymatogyra Arietina
While these little ram's horns look like gastropods, they're actually bivalves! I will sell anywhere from 5-200 of these with volume discounts as shown on my EBay listing.
5 for $5, 10 for $9.50, 15 for $13.50, etc
"Denture Clam," "Razor Oyster," Rastellum Carinatum
This Weno formation oyster was found at a construction site off of Eagle Parkway near the Texas Motor Speedway in July 2024, where huge slabs of these oysters were removed from the ground. I don't have any slabs, but I have several individual specimens that are nice. Rare Hamites (Idiohamites sp) Plate!
This unusual plate contains many imprints and molds of the heteromorph ammonite species idiohamites. This is from a Duck Creek formation spot I frequent in Tarrant County, Southwest Fort Worth.
Shoe Clam, Pholadomyidae sp
These huge clam fossils are occasionally found in the Grayson Formation. I don't have many, and I don't find them often. The sheer size makes them an impressive addition to your collection! 2" Holaster Sp. Echinoid
This holaster species echinoid came from Fossil Creek north of Fort Worth, TX. It's intact shell makes this specimen unusual, since the thin shell is usually broken in far more places.

Set of three prepared by myself using an air abrasive tool, the little spine nodes are still visible. Amazing detail on these little fossils. These are from the Goodland Formation near Downtown Fort Worth. This trio features small oysters that attached themselves to the urchins at a time when DFW was covered in water as part of the Western Interior Seaway.

Very nice (and LARGE) 3" clam in perfect condition, see link to the right for all photos. These are from the Goodland Formation in far Northwest Tarrant County near Eagle Mountain.

Inoceramus Clam Mold
These clams get quite large, but the outer shell is rarely preserved due the thin shell becoming easily destroyed over time. This leaves the inner mold. I found this clam in the Duck Creek Formation along a feeder creek into Benbrook Lake.
SOLD
NOT FOR SALE: Amphidonte Walkeri, FW Formation clam
This sizable clam exceeds 4 inches in length, and I have only found 2 over the last year or so. I have one available for sale but it is not listed anywhere and I haven't prepared it yet. The one shown is in my personal collection as of now. I'm open to offers, but it's rarely found so I am not sure if I'm willing to give it up absent more supply.
Heteraster Sp. Echinoids
Set of three prepared by myself using an air abrasive tool. Amazing detail on these little fossils. These are from the Goodland Formation near Downtown Fort Worth along the Trinity River. This trio features almost no visible blemishes. Very distinct markings on top and signature wide trough down the backside characteristic of heteraster echinoids.
